Our Story

Every bird has a turf.

You can spend a lot of time looking at something and thinking about what you’d do differently. Change the color. Rethink the design. Take it apart just to see if you can make it work the way it does in your head.

Then one day, you start wondering what you could make if the whole thing were yours.

That’s where TurfBird began.

It started with a love of golf passed down through generations, and a habit of putting our own touch on the things we care about. We’ve always liked taking an idea far enough to see it become something real. Eventually, that meant taking a chance on something of our own.

There’s a point where creating asks more of you than imagination. You have to put in the time, make the decisions, and pay for the mistakes. You put something into the world before you know whether anyone else will see what you see.

You find out how much an idea means to you when it starts costing you something.

TurfBird is us finding out. We’re learning as we build and giving something we love the chance to become everything we think it could be.

That’s what having your own turf means to us: somewhere you care enough to begin, and something you care enough about to keep going.

Ours started on a golf course. Yours could be anywhere.

Start with something you love. Learn to fly from there.
